Rafal is a municipality in the Valencian Community of Spain, located in the south of the province of Alicante, within the comarca of Vega Baja del Segura.
The municipality covers an area of just 1.6 square kilometres (0.62 square miles), making it one of the smallest municipalities by area in the region. As of 2011, it had a population of 4,162 people.
