Ontinyent is a town and municipality located in the Valencian Community of Spain. It is situated within the comarca of Vall d'Albaida.
The town is positioned on the banks of the Clarià River, which serves as a tributary of the Xúquer. Geographically, it lies near the Serra de Mariola Natural Park and is located along the Xàtiva–Alcoi railway line.
