Matet is a municipality in Spain, located in the comarca of Alto Palancia within the province of Castellón, in the Valencia region.
It is one of the small inland settlements that make up the Alto Palancia district, an area of the Valencian Community situated in the country's east. As a municipality, Matet forms part of the local administrative structure of the province of Castellón.
