Ludiente is a village in the district of Alto Mijares, in the province of Castellón, within the Valencia region of Spain. It is one of the small settlements that make up the Alto Mijares comarca, an inland area of the province characterised by its mountainous terrain and rural character.
As a village rather than a large town, Ludiente has a modest population and a compact urban core typical of the scattered municipalities of inland Castellón. Its setting in the Alto Mijares places it within a landscape of hills and valleys in the northern part of the Valencia region, at some distance from the provincial capital and the coast.
