Llombai is a municipality in the comarca of Ribera Alta, within the Valencian Community of Spain. It lies in the province of Valencia, in the eastern part of the country.
The town is a village of the Marquesat, a historical designation associated with the area. Ribera Alta is an inland comarca of the Valencian Community, situated to the south and west of the city of Valencia.
Llombai is one of the smaller municipalities that make up the Ribera Alta, a comarca centred on the town of Alzira. As a Valencian municipality, it forms part of the administrative structure of the Valencian Community, one of Spain's seventeen autonomous communities.
