Facheca (also recorded as Fageca) is a municipality in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. It lies in the comarca of Comtat, within the province of Alicante.
The settlement sits in the mountainous interior of Alicante province, a predominantly rural area of the Valencian Community. Like other municipalities in the Comtat comarca, it is a small, sparsely populated place whose administrative identity is defined at the municipal level.
Its location within the Comtat places it among the inland towns of the region, distinct from the coastal resorts for which the province of Alicante is better known.
