Daya Nueva is a municipality in the comarca of Vega Baja del Segura, in the Valencian Community of Spain. It lies in the southern part of the region, within the Vega Baja del Segura area, a low-lying district centred on the Segura river.
The town is one of several small municipalities that make up the Vega Baja del Segura comarca, a predominantly agricultural area of the province of Alicante. Like other settlements in the comarca, it is situated in the wider Valencian Community, an autonomous community on Spain's eastern Mediterranean coast.
Daya Nueva is administratively a municipality, the basic unit of local government in Spain, and forms part of the Valencian Community alongside the other towns and villages of the Vega Baja del Segura.
