Chiva is a municipality situated within the Hoya de Buñol region in the Valencian Community of Spain. Located approximately 31 kilometers inland from the capital city of Valencia, it sits along the A3 Highway heading toward Madrid.
The town has a population of 16,750 inhabitants. While both Spanish and Valencian are co-official regional languages in the Valencian Community, Spanish is the legally recognized predominant language in Chiva.
