Benifla is a municipality in the comarca of Safor, in the Valencian Country of eastern Spain. It lies roughly 63 kilometres from the city of Valencia, measured in a straight line.
The town sits within the Safor region, a coastal and inland area of the province of Valencia whose administrative centre is Gandia. Benifla is one of the smaller municipalities of this comarca, situated in the lowland terrain characteristic of the area rather than on the coast itself.
As a Valencian municipality, Benifla is part of the autonomous community of Valencia and shares in the region's Mediterranean climate and agricultural landscape.
