Benidoleig is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Alta, within the Valencian Community of Spain. It is located in the province of Alicante, in the eastern part of the country on the Mediterranean coast.
The town belongs to the Marina Alta comarca, a district in the northern part of Alicante province known for its mountainous interior and coastal settlements. As a municipality, Benidoleig forms part of the Valencian Community, one of Spain's seventeen autonomous communities.
