Benicolet is a municipality in the comarca of Vall d'Albaida, in the Valencian Community of Spain. It is located in the eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula, within the province of Valencia.
The town forms part of the Vall d'Albaida district, an inland comarca of the Valencian Community whose administrative centre is Ontinyent. Like other municipalities in the area, Benicolet is a small local administrative unit governed by its own municipal council.
