Atzeneta d'Albaida is a municipality in Spain, located in the comarca of Vall d'Albaida, in the province of Valencia, within the Valencian Community. It lies in the eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula, in a region centred on the inland valley area of the province of Valencia.
Administratively, the town forms part of the Vall d'Albaida comarca, one of the districts that make up the province of Valencia. As a municipality, it has its own local government and is recognised as a distinct administrative unit within the Valencian Community, one of Spain's seventeen autonomous communities.
The Valencian Community is situated along Spain's eastern Mediterranean coast, and the province of Valencia extends from the coast inland into mountainous terrain. Atzeneta d'Albaida belongs to the inland portion of the province, within the Vall d'Albaida district, rather than to the coastal plain around the city of Valencia itself.
