Argelita is a municipality in the comarca of Alto Mijares, in the province of Castellón, within the Valencia region of Spain. It lies in the valley formed by the Villahermosa River, also known as the Argelita River, and is surrounded by high mountains. The municipality covers 15.5 square kilometres and is located about 40 kilometres from the city of Castellón.
In 2015 Argelita had a population of 147. The surrounding land includes irrigated orchards that inhabitants have cultivated throughout history. Its mild temperature and landscapes cause the population to increase significantly in summer.
