Alfarp is a municipality in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. It lies within the comarca of Ribera Alta, a district in the province of Valencia.
The town sits in the Ribera Alta, a comarca whose name refers to the fertile land along the Júcar river. Alfarp is one of the smaller municipalities of the district, set in a landscape of irrigated farmland and low hills typical of the Valencia region's interior.
Like other towns in the Valencian Community, Alfarp observes the region's bilingual tradition, with both Valencian and Spanish in official use. The municipality is within reach of the city of Valencia and the wider Ribera Alta network of towns, but retains the character of a small inland Valencian settlement.
