Alcalà de Xivert is a town and municipality in the Baix Maestrat comarca, in the province of Castelló, part of the Valencian Community of Spain. It lies in the northern part of the region, within the coastal province of Castelló.
The municipality is made up of the inland town of Alcalà de Xivert together with the coastal settlement of Alcossebre, which falls within the same municipal term. This gives the municipality both an inland character and a stretch of Mediterranean coastline.
