Leaburu is a town in the province of Gipuzkoa, within the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country in northern Spain. It is one of the smaller municipalities of the region, situated in the hilly interior of Gipuzkoa rather than on the coast.
Like other settlements in the Basque Country, Leaburu lies in an area where the Basque language and Basque cultural traditions are historically established. The surrounding landscape is typical of inland Gipuzkoa, characterised by green, mountainous terrain.
