Ibarra is a town and municipality in the province of Gipuzkoa, within the autonomous community of the Basque Country in northern Spain. It is one of the smaller municipalities of the province, situated in the Basque region of the country's north.
According to INE figures for 2003, Ibarra had a total population of 4,374 at that time. The town is therefore a small, locally administered settlement rather than a major urban centre.
