Gatika is a town and municipality in the province of Biscay, within the autonomous community of the Basque Country in northern Spain. It is located in the historical territory of Biscay, part of the Basque region of northern Iberia.
The municipality had a population of 1,559 inhabitants as of 2009. Its most notable landmark is the historic Butrón castle, which is located within Gatika.
