Etxebarria is a town and municipality in the province of Biscay, within the autonomous community of the Basque Country in northern Spain.
It lies in the historic region of Biscay, one of the three provinces that make up the Basque Country, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. The municipality holds the administrative status of both town and municipality, a common arrangement among the smaller settlements of the region.
As a Biscayan municipality, Etxebarria forms part of the local administrative structure of the province, alongside the many other towns and municipalities that make up the Basque Country's northern coastal and inland territory.
