Azpeitia is a town and municipality situated in the province of Gipuzkoa within the Basque Country region of Spain. It is located on the banks of the Urola river, positioned a few kilometres east of the neighboring town of Azkoitia.
The municipality has a population of 14,580 residents. Geographically, it is situated approximately 41 kilometres (25 miles) southwest of the city of San Sebastián.
