Taboadela is a municipality in the province of Ourense, in the autonomous community of Galicia, in northwestern Spain. It belongs to the comarca (district) of Ourense.
It is a small municipality, situated in the inland part of Galicia rather than on the region's Atlantic coastline. As part of the comarca of Ourense, it lies within the administrative orbit of the city of Ourense, the provincial capital.
Like much of Galicia, the area is characterised by a rural landscape and a wet, temperate climate, though Taboadela itself is not among the region's major population centres or best-known destinations.
