Santa Uxía de Ribeira is the capital and most populous urban center of the municipality of Ribeira. It is located in the province of A Coruña within the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain.
The city serves as a primary hub within the comarca of Barbanza. The surrounding municipality is divided into nine civil parishes, including Aguiño, Artes, Carreira, Castiñeiras, Corrubedo, Oleiros, Olveira, Palmeira, and Ribeira.
