Laxe is a municipality in the northwest of Spain, located in the province of A Coruña within the autonomous community of Galicia. It belongs to the comarca of Bergantiños.
The municipality sits in the sheltered Cabanas bay area. Because of this sheltered position, Laxe's expansive sandy beaches are well protected from Atlantic winds.
