Corcubión is a municipality in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It belongs to the comarca of Fisterra, the district centred on the coastal town of Fisterra to the southwest.
The municipality lies in the far northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, within the rugged Atlantic-facing coastline of Galicia. Its administrative status is that of a concello, the standard local government unit in Galicia, and its affairs fall under the provincial administration of A Coruña and the regional government of Galicia.
Corcubión is one of several small municipalities that make up the Fisterra comarca, a predominantly rural and maritime area at the western edge of mainland Spain. As with other concellos in the region, it is defined by its municipal boundaries and its membership in this comarca rather than by any larger urban designation.
