Abegondo is a municipality located in the province of A Coruña within the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It covers a total area of 83.72 km² and has a population of 5,578 residents, resulting in a population density of 66.56 people per square kilometer.
The municipality is situated in the semi-coast region of the province. It is positioned geographically between the municipality of Cambre and the historic town of Betanzos.
