A Veiga is a municipality, or concello, in the south-east of the province of Ourense, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. Its capital is the town of A Veiga, also referred to as Santa María da Veiga to distinguish it from other places in Galicia bearing the same name. The town lies roughly 150 km from the city of Ourense.
At 291 km², A Veiga is one of the largest concellos in the province of Ourense. Despite its size, it has a relatively low and decreasing population density. The municipality had a population of 1,273 as of 2005.
