Valverde de Leganés is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. It is located in the western part of the country, near the border with Portugal.
According to the 2005 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 3,894 inhabitants.
