Valdelacalzada is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. It is located in the western part of the country, within the Extremadura region that borders Portugal.
According to the 2005 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 2,700 inhabitants. The town is one of several small municipalities that make up the rural landscape of the Badajoz province.
