Táliga (also spelled Talega) is a Spanish town and municipality in the province of Badajoz, within the autonomous community of Extremadura. It lies near the border with Portugal.
Portugal regards Táliga, along with neighbouring Olivenza, as de jure part of the Portuguese concelho of Olivenza, which it considers to have been occupied by Spain since 1801. This longstanding territorial dispute means the town's sovereignty is not recognised identically by both countries.
