San Pedro de Mérida is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, in the Extremadura region of southwestern Spain. It lies in the comarca (district) of Tierra de Mérida–Vegas Bajas, a short distance east of the city of Mérida, the regional capital of Extremadura.
As of 2025, the municipality had a population of 859 inhabitants. It is one of the smaller municipalities in the province, with a settlement pattern typical of the region's rural communities.
The town's name associates it with Mérida, the nearby Roman-founded city whose historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. San Pedro de Mérida sits within the wider metropolitan area of Mérida and shares in the area's agricultural landscape, which is dominated by the plains of the Guadiana river basin.
