Ribera del Fresno is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Badajoz within the autonomous community of Extremadura. It lies in the western part of the country, near the border with Portugal.
As of 2009, the municipality had a population of 3,466 inhabitants. Like many towns in this part of Extremadura, it is a small, rural settlement.
