Malcocinado is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. It is a small rural settlement in the southwestern part of the country, near the border with Portugal.
According to the 2005 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), the municipality had a population of 486 inhabitants. Like many villages in this part of Extremadura, it is characterized by a small, close-knit community and a low population density.
