Cheles is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. It is located in the western part of the province, near the border with Portugal.
According to the 2005 census carried out by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Cheles had a population of 1,296 inhabitants. The municipality is one of the smaller population centres in the Badajoz province.
