Arroyo de la Luz is a municipality in the province of Cáceres, in the Extremadura region of western Spain. It lies within the autonomous community of Extremadura, near the border with Portugal.
According to the 2005 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), the municipality had a population of 6,607 inhabitants. The town is one of several small municipalities that make up the sparsely populated province of Cáceres.
