Vic is a city in the Catalonia region of Spain, serving as the capital of the comarca (district) of Osona. It lies in the province of Barcelona.
The city is situated roughly 69 kilometres (43 miles) from Barcelona and about 60 kilometres (37 miles) from Girona, placing it in the inland part of Catalonia between these two major cities.
