Siurana is a municipality in the comarca of Alt Empordà, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It is located just south of Figueres, the comarcal capital of Alt Empordà.
The municipality lies in the northeastern corner of Catalonia, within the broader Girona region. Its position near Figueres places it in the Empordà plain, an area of the province known for its Mediterranean climate and agricultural landscape.
As a municipality, Siurana forms part of the local administrative structure of Alt Empordà, one of the comarques that make up the province of Girona. It should not be confused with the village of Siurana in the Priorat comarca, which shares the same name but lies in a different part of Catalonia.
