Sidamon is a village located in the province of Lleida, within the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. It lies in the western part of Catalonia, in the comarca of Pla d'Urgell, a predominantly flat agricultural area of the inland Catalan plain.
Like many settlements in this part of Lleida province, Sidamon is a small municipality whose character is shaped by the surrounding farmland and by its position within one of Catalonia's main irrigation and crop-growing districts. The village sits in a landscape of fields and small towns rather than on the coast or in the Pyrenees.
Administratively, Sidamon falls under the province of Lleida and the wider autonomous community of Catalonia, whose capital is Barcelona. The municipality is one of several small population centres that make up the Pla d'Urgell area, a comarca centred on the town of Mollerussa.
