Sant Hilari Sacalm

Spain

Sant Hilari Sacalm is a municipality in the comarca of the Selva, in Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, within the province of Girona.

The town lies in the Guilleries massif, a mountainous area of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, and is surrounded by extensive forests of holm oak and pine. Its elevated setting gives it a cooler, damper climate than much of coastal Catalonia.

Sant Hilari Sacalm is known for its natural springs and has a long association with bottled water production, which has been a notable part of its local economy.
