Massanes, also called Maçanes, is a municipality in the province of Girona, in the comarca of the Selva, in Catalonia, Spain. It lies on the left bank of the Tordera river.
The town is served by local roads that link it with the A-7 autopista and the C-251 road, as well as by a Renfe railway station shared with Maçanet de la Selva.
