Gualta is a village and municipality in the province of Girona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. It lies in the comarca of Baix Empordà, in the northeastern part of the country near the Costa Brava.
The municipality covers an area of about 9 square kilometres (3.5 square miles). Its population was recorded as 362 in 2014, making it a small and sparsely populated settlement.
