Gósol is a village and municipality in the northwest of the comarca of Berguedà in Catalonia, Spain. It lies within the Pyrenees, in the northern part of the region near the border with the province of Lleida.
The village sits inside the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, a protected mountainous area of the Pyrenees. It is located to the west of Pedraforca, the distinctive forked peak that is one of the best-known landmarks of the Berguedà area.
Its position within the natural park and beside Pedraforca makes Gósol a point of reference for the surrounding mountain terrain. The municipality is one of several small settlements that make up the northwest of the Berguedà comarca.
