Canet de Mar is a municipality located in the Maresme comarca within the Catalonia region of Spain. Situated in the province of Barcelona, the town lies approximately 43 kilometers from the city of Barcelona and is positioned along the coast between Arenys de Mar and Sant Pol de Mar.
The area is characterized by its proximity to the el Corredor and el Montnegre ranges. While it serves as a tourist center, the municipality is also recognized for the cultivation of strawberries and flowers, as well as its collection of buildings designed in the modernist style. The town is accessible via the N-II coastal road, the C-32 highway, and a station on the Renfe railway line.
