Cabanelles is a municipality in the comarca of Alt Empordà, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It lies in the north-east of the country, within the historic and administrative region of Catalonia.
The municipality is notable for including a small exclave to the south-east, separated from its main territory. This makes Cabanelles one of the Catalan municipalities whose administrative area is not contiguous.
