Begur is a village and municipality in the comarca of Baix Empordà, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, within the coastal region known as the Costa Brava.
The village itself sits roughly 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) inland from the coastline and about 200 metres (660 feet) above it. Despite the village's inland position, the municipality extends to the sea and includes several seaside resorts along the coast.
