Balsareny is a municipality in the north of the comarca of Bages, in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It lies in the valley of the Llobregat river, an area characterised by its typical forests of Aleppo pines.
The town is connected by road via the BP-4313, which links it with Súria and Avinyó.
