Arenys de Mar is a primary municipality located within the Maresme comarca in the province of Barcelona, situated in the Catalonia region of Spain. It is positioned along the coastline between the neighboring towns of Caldes d'Estrac and Canet de Mar.
The town is located approximately 40 kilometres northeast of the city of Barcelona. As of 2022, the municipality had a recorded population of 16,155 residents.
