Quintana del Marco is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of León within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It lies in the northwestern part of the country, in a region characterised by a continental Mediterranean climate and a landscape of plains and low hills typical of the Leonese countryside.
According to the 2004 census carried out by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 516 inhabitants. Like many small municipalities in rural Castile and León, it is a sparsely populated community centred on its principal settlement.
The municipality is one of numerous small administrative units that make up the province of León, a province whose heritage reflects centuries of history within the Kingdom of León and later the unified Spanish state. Quintana del Marco remains a quiet rural locality, with its identity tied to the agricultural traditions of the surrounding region.
