Pedraza de Alba is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Salamanca within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It lies in the western-central part of the country, in a region characterised by the flat plains and agricultural landscapes typical of the Castilian meseta.
The municipality is small, with a recorded population of 248 inhabitants as of 2016. Like many rural settlements in this part of Salamanca province, it is a compact village surrounded by farmland, and its demographic profile reflects the broader pattern of depopulation seen across much of interior Castile and León.
Pedraza de Alba is administratively a municipality in its own right, meaning it has its own local government and territorial boundaries within the province. It should not be confused with other places in Spain bearing the name Pedraza, most notably the walled town of Pedraza in the province of Segovia.
