Miranda de Ebro is a Spanish municipality situated in the province of Burgos within the autonomous community of Castile and León. The city is geographically positioned on the northern watershed of the Obarenes Mountains, located near the border with the Basque province of Álava and the neighboring autonomous community of La Rioja.
The city is characterized by its location straddling the Ebro River, specifically near the point where it meets the Bayas river. As of early 2025, the municipality has a registered population of approximately 37,138 residents.
