The municipality is small and sparsely populated. According to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Cerratón de Juarros had a population of 62 inhabitants. Its small population and location in the Burgos countryside make it representative of the many minor rural municipalities that make up much of the province.
